Special Force

Special force, an online game, has been the cause of noisy computer shops here in Lipa City. SF addicts keep laughing out loud, cursing and saying 'vovo' (bobo) to each other. It's like counter strike but I think it's more interesting....uhmmm.... to watch because I'm not 'in' to computer games. I'm not addicted to them.
While watching my brother Paeng playing SF, I find myself laughing with him-within a couple of minutes.

OPLAN: Linis- Inbox

I deleted all the unnecessary mails in my inbox (in my email). My highschool classmates seemed like they all have lots of time sending me some friendster fan profiles and applicatons. I absolutely abhor messages that starts with these:
  • Your friends want to share application with you...
  • Your friends want to share fan profiles with you...

But wait there's more! A few months ago, I joined an online group "Talkin' About Architecture" because I thoughht it would help me in my studies. Since then, they've been sending me all those questions (purely questions!) about this and that. Actually, one email threatens me that if I won't be able to reply on some of the questions sent to me, a member will delete my membership! Gosh! Then do so! I don't care at all! They're just filling my inbox with trash.

Nicholas Sparks

'Three Weeks with My Brother' is all about Nicholas Sparks'(one of my favorite authors) and Micah Sparks'(his brother) travel to Latin America, Europe and Asia. He (Nicholas) also narrates the story of his life and family.

The nice thing about Nicholas Sparks' life is the three statements his mother used to say. Here are those:
1.) That's your life.

2.) What you want and what you get are usually two entirely different things.

3.) No one ever said that life is fair.

And he never win an argument with his mother. He even tell the same thing to his children.

I won't summarize the book here in my blog- better read the book because it's very inspiring. You might be able to realize the things you should appreciate more than anything else.

It Hurts

We had our second and final trip for NSTP- CWTS last Sunday, this time, in NTA, Montalban, Rizal. That time, we're with Archi-3. That's the section of my former crush (I guess). We didn't plant trees or any landscaping, instead, we were assigned to adopt a child for one day and make him/her happy; which I thought was quite boring and uninteresting.
But as the day passed on, I realized that it makes also you happy when you let someone feel the same way. I prefered adopting a boy rather than a girl because, you know, girls(esp. children) were moody and hard to understand. The little boy's name was John Troy. I forgot his surname. He's 10 years old and currently a fourth grader.

Since we're with Archi-3, I saw my former cush and her friends. Of course, she seemed very happy and energetic even though we were not yet beginning.
I could see her glancing at me even if I wasn't looking directly at her. I thought she would come near to me and approach me about the 'texting' last week but I was wrong. I waited for her at least to say 'hi' but I just disappointed myself.
Monday morning, I was with Clarice. I texted her (my former crush) and asked about CWTS activity. But she didn't reply. I waited for her text the whole night (and I still do) but it didn't come.
I don't want to let this g**d**n self-pity eat me. Even if I'm always saying that I don't want to look at her anymore, I can't keep but turn my head and stare at her when I see her passing by. I never like this, never! But I'm thinking 'bout this last night- maybe she's not hurting me, I think she's hurting my pride.
Well, she may feel as if she's very important but I don't care. Anyway, Alex is a lot more beautiful than her.

This is amazing!
British archaeologists unearthed a 2000-year old skull with a well-preserved brain which according to them was the oldest in Britain. They found it while digging in a muddy pit at the University of York in England. They believed that it was severed from its owner sometime before the invasion of Britain by the Romans.

Officer Rachel Cubbitt felt something moved inside the cramium, and when she looked at the base of the skull, she found a yellow substance inside and was confirmed as a brain tissue when scanned at York Hospital.

Richard Hall, a director of York Archaeological Trust, said it's unclear that the brain had survived for centuries and wondered why the skull is separated from its body.

Yahoo! News

According to Yahoo News- Philippines, Manny Pacquiao awarded $2 000 to his friends who passed the weight reduction challenge. He dared them(his friends) that if they will lose 10 lbs in two weeks, each of them will get $2 000 and those who lose 15 lbs will get an additional $1000.

And out of 29 who took his challenge, only five weren't able to make it.
Alex Ariza, Pacqiuao's conditioning coach, said that it's much harder to do it(weight reduction) himself than asking or instructing someone to do it.
Pacquiao shelled a total of $74 000 in "lose-weight-win-cash" challenge, an amount of money enough to buy a big house in the Philippines or a brand new Mercerdes Benz in US!

Pacquiao put up the challenge so that other people will understand how difficult it is to be a boxer. And next time, he said, the challenge will involve ladies.

Bamban, Tarlac

We went to Sitio San Martin, Bamban, Tarlac last Sunday, November 30 because of NSTP- CWTS. Sitio San Martin is a partner community of UST- NSTP.

We enjoyed travelling; you know, the NLEX, the sight of the sun and the blue sky and of course, the stop overs (rest stops). Krizzia,my classmate, who was sitting beside me then, said I was kind of kill joy because she said I'd rather spend my time reading a novel than enjoying the environment not seen in Manila. I made no comment. I just gave her a smile.

When we got there, our cellphones lost signals. I suddenly thought it's like you're in a movie stranded in a remote place, your phone had no signal and there's someone who would tell you there's no way out. Haha.
We were an instant celebrity when we arrived. Children kept playing around, running here and there and happily waving their hands saying 'Hello!' We got out the bus and those children kept asking our names. It's like we're celebrities. And a child, upon seeing Mikee's digicam, said,'Ate pa-picture!'. They were really nice but naughty.

Most of the people who live there were Aetas. The place was so beautiful. I love the view of the mountain on the other side. People there were hospitable. They had a simple life and simple houses, too(most of their houses were of the same elevation and plan) .There's also UST Benavides Library, obviously one of the projects of UST.

I'm looking forward to seeing that place again in Dec. 14(together with my crush).

Eva Fonty

Eva Fonty is our Design4 professor. I know you wanna know kung bakit ganun yung tawag namin sa kanya. Well, 'di ko naman gagawing secret yun forever. I'm very eager nga na ikwento sa inyo yung history nun. Whahaha...!

The first day pa lang na nakita ko yung prof namin, I know na he's gay. It's obvious kaya. Macho gay sya actually. Gosh! Hello?!!

Yung history naman nun e2:
One of my classmates, si Third, sabi nya Fonty daw name nya dapat kasi, you know, bakla nga sya. A week later, sinabi ni Katkat na dapat daw Eva Fonda. Sabi ko naman, it should be Eva Fonty para mas maganda and mas obvious na nang-ba- backstab kami. Hahaha.

If you'll ask me kung ano real name nya, well, sorry! And kahit ganun sya, still, professor ko pa rin yun. I need to respect him pa rin. In fairness, magaling sya magturo, hands-on sa 'min yun kahit na medyo mataray.

Doomsday

Nag-red yung eyes, nose and cheeks nya. Sana gumaling na agad sya.

Makes Me Wonder

It really makes me wonder. Well, as usual, I'm talkin' about my crush. Once in a blue moon lang.

Supposed to be, hindi ko sya mapapansin kase una kong nakita yung classmate nya na very annoying. I don't know ha, pero ba't kaya naka-stare sa 'kin yun? I guess dahil sa new hairdo ko. Hahaha. At dahil I don't like someone na naka-stare sa 'kin ng matagal, tumingin ako sa right side ko and poof! Nakita ko yung crush ko.

And this afternoon lang, I saw her na naman. Papunta kami sa IPEA Office; pababa kami nun. So while we're walking downstairs, nakita ko sya na papunta sa third floor rest room. Nakatali yung hair nya nun. Tapos sabi ni Krizzia, mas gusto daw nya hair ni crush 'pag nakatali. Ako naman, I made no comment kase I started to realize na she's not that beautiful. But I'm not saying na pangit sya. 'Di lang talaga sya masyadong maganda. Pero one of these days baka mai-post ko sa blog ko yung pic nya na naka-Filipiniana gown sya.
