I Am...Sasha Fierce

It's nice to know that Beyonce's third solo album, I Am...Sasha Fierce, released in November by Columbia Records reached the top spot both in Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart.

For a fan like me, I consider seeing her performing on Oscar Awards' opening program a lucky shot. Upon watching Single Ladies' music video, I suddenly felt, faster than the speed of light,that I am her biggest fan!
I like the steps on Single Ladies. How I wish God had given me such talent so I wouldn't be just a 'star under the shower.'
I also love the lyrics of Listen. By the way, B's beautiful even in black blouse and jeans. She's terribly beautiful in such simple outfit! I remember when my friend sang that song in videoke in St. Thomas Square, very horrible...

I Still Love Them

I still love the boy band Blue. I still love their voices, the way they sing and everything about them. I love Simon Webbe, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan. I hate to admit it but I don't like Duncan James. Sorry. Here's their pic!



Just so you know, I suddenly remember their song titled 'Best in Me'. I love the musicality of that song. It's one of my all-time favorites. The strum of the acoustic guitar and the snap are very ear-catching.

I Love it!

Here are the cute, yummy houses made of biscuits from Korea. I received these pictures yesterday from Green Architects, an online Yahoo! group.



The picture above are typical houses you can find in tropical countries like Philippines and Indonesia, particularly in Bali. If that thing is placed in our house, red ants will have their own house and food at the same time.

Uhmm, the second one resembles a high-rise building. The round biscuits, I don't know what its brand name- seems like Fita with strawberry filling. Those cute biscuits (Are those biscuits?) that appear in pink and white are like entourage, but I don't know if it's tree or human entourage. Definitely not a vehicle entourage.



Nothing new in this picture. They are still biscuits, of course. They luckily exist there to perform as trees to give life to the surrounding buildings.



This one resembles a Persian gateway; now that's HOA1 (History of Architecture1)!



As you can see, there's a pyramid in the middle of an ancient town. It's very historic in appearance.



And this is my favorite picture. Obviously, it is a doll house made of biscuits. Honestly, this doll house is more beautiful than mine. I like its interior.

The creator of this model showed how hardworking and patient he was! Look, it's so small. A very painstaking task, indeed.



I also love this. The roofing is in the style of Japanese. It's cute.

Where's My Gift?

I'd been counting the days and weeks since Aldred promised me to give the present as part of the exchange gift of our Christmas Party. I also started counting the seem-to-never-end 'Next week, next week. Promise.'-statement since the start of class, that is, the first week of January (God! Anong petsa na?!).

I wish he'll be able to give that gift on Valentine's Day (Oh! How sweet!). Well, I can't deny the fact that he's good-looking but I am kind of turned-off because he can't keep his promise.

I wish he'll give me a Teddy Bear. Haha.

After cheking messages in my Yahoo!Mail, I found two amazing buildings. I also realized that Green Architects, an online group, is much better than Talkin' About Architecture, also an online group.
Green Architects' founder and members are both willing to give information and daily news about the latest happenings in the world of architecture. On the other hand, Talkin' about Architecture; yes, it also provides infos, but the members are more concern of themselves. All of their messages are questions. And the founder isn't as active as the former group.

Word of the Day Keeps Laughter Millimeters Away

Here we go again. After several weeks without 'Word of the Day', I now formally announce that it has come back! Right here, right now!

Okay, this is the word of the day: OVERPROTECTED.
Once more, Krizzzia has proven that she is still the 'Queen of Quotable Quotes' (triple Q)!
Once more, she made my tummy as big as Snorlax's (Pokemon) because of the air I inhaled while laughing.

Here's what happened:
We were talking about the black cycling she borrowed from me yesterday until randomness brought us to the topic regarding her lola (grandmother). I couldn't remember the exact detail, I mean the things we talked about, before she said that qoutable qoute. But I could still picture her face clearly when she said that. She looked serious (while doing the detail of kitchen in BT2) when she said,'Yung lola ko kasi is OVERPROTECTED'.
The moment I heard the word in upper case letters, I replayed in my mind how her lips moved when she uttered the word though I was certain I heard it accurately. I was kind of puzzled so I said, 'Di ba dapat overprotective yun?'
After saying that, I looked at Paola who was sitting at my right, figuring out if she heard what Krizzia had said. Good thing she did hear it. I noticed it when she started to laugh. Clarice also laughed when she knew that. Krizzia I think was quite embarassed, aware of her mistake.
She asked us what's the difference between overprotected and overprotective. Paola said overprotected is 'para sa sarili' while overprotective is 'para sa ibang tao' (if I wasn't mistaken).

I can't easily get over with things like that. Until now, it still has the same effect on me just like the first time I heard it- OVERPROTECTED.

I was thinking of safeguard commrecial: Use safeguard for 24-hour 'overprotection' laban sa skin germs.

A Talk to Remember

Last night, I talked to my uncle about my worries (if you read my blog 'Need A Therapist', you know what I mean). Not just that. I told him my problem in academics, problem in our house (I'm not referring to our house, literally, I'm talking about my mom). I told him the things that were 'eating' me. I nearly cried, but I tried my best to fight back the tears because I didn't want him or my aunt to see me crying. My voice was trembling because of I felt the lump on my throat. And I got frequent pauses because I didn't want him to notice that. He, in return, gave me pieces of advice, gave reasons why such things happen and told me to widen up my understanding a little bit.

Luckily, I told him all of it. I made sure that I didn't miss a thing. And it made me feel comfortable.
I realized that if you tell someone your problems, it lightens up your load.
I feel relieved... I'm floating in the air!
