CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

We always have a share of childhood memories, which we find funny when we recall them but back at those times, we thought they were something to be taken seriously. Last night, memories of my childhood bumped into my head suddenly and I could not help but silently laugh at them. Well, I could not laugh aloud last night, my cousins would think I’d gone crazy. Anyway, I’ll just tell you the highlights.

1. First Day of School. I recall mom and dad happily telling me I was finally going to school the coming June- in Kindergarten. They were eating then and I was literally looking up to them and thinking, ‘What’s so nice about going to school? I do not want to study yet. I’m happy in our home just watching cartoons.’ However, I didn’t say it to them that time because I was a nice and compliant kid so what I did was to force a smile.

2. The Yellow Bell. In my first home in Bauan, Batangas, where I stayed for almost 9 yrs, we used to have gardens planted with orchids and other ornamental plants. I have an older brother named Paul who used to see lady bugs in yellow bell flower (if you don’t know how yellow bell flower looks like, search it first before you continue reading this) and he did always call me just to see it. I do not know how he found out that that flowering plant is called yellow bell but when my dad heard me saying ‘yellow bell’ while pointing at 3-4 ft plant with yellow flowers, he was amazed and asked [while smiling], ‘How did you know that that plant is called yellow bell?’ I didn’t say a word but I was asking myself then, ‘Why do old people think that kids do not know anything? Hey, we aren’t stupid.’

3. I See Sky as Sea. Yeah, that’s it. I used to think that blue sky is a sea that floats and is the basis for convincing myself that explains why it rains. The water from the sea sky drops down to the earth. At least I that’s what I believed when I was not yet studying.

4. Mama Mary. My parents were just renting an apartment in Bauan. When I was little, the window of Nanay Haning’s (the owner of the ‘row apartments’) house was always opened in the afternoon; I think that’s the master bedroom. I could see big pictures of Jesus and Mother Mary hung on the wall. At that age, I already know of Jesus but I’m not familiar with the lady beside her (that’s Mama Mary BTW). I thought that Mama Mary was a Goddess of Rain and when it rains I always blamed it on her. One time, my mother was listening to me talking to my younger brother telling him that She was the Goddess of Rain and I hated her. She got annoyed when she heard of that and told me that lady is the mother of Jesus. I said, ‘Oh, okay… Sorry.’

1. Filipinos are late bloomers and, generally, stupid. Yeah, even we do not want to admit it, it is a fact. Technology, fashion, improvements on education, you name it. By the time they come in the Philippines, other countries had already get tired of using them or they are already a trash. Oops, by the way, Filipinos love recycling!

2. I appreciate country's heritage except for jeepneys. Philippines is the pioneer of this kind of vehicle and they say it is already part of our heritage, which is a fact. Look, I don't have a car, but if you remove all these dirty and rusty jeeps in the highways, as in total elimination, there would be less traffic jams and I would not have to travel an hour just to get to school. Let us be practical and honest guys. Jeeps contribute a lot in air pollution and consume a lot of space on the road. It would have been better if Filipinos found a way to improve it other than putting an air conditioner or making it longer than the usual so it could accommodate more passengers.

3. We can't get away from the 'crab mentality fever' and I'm talking about no less than the Filipino media. One good example is how they love providing a large space in newspaper front page about police brutality, police's abuse of power and/or police corruption. They loooove diggin' the graveyard for our law enforcement agency and they won't stop until the latter dive in there. Freedom of speech/expression and reporting the truth [and nothing but the truth!] are their right. But we all know that in every right there is a corresponding responsibility. Freedom of speech has become more emotional and, say, 'romantic' as if the government is depriving us of it, when in fact we are given much much more than just freedom. The media caused every Filipino not only doubt but much worse untrust/distrust our police, so instead, they turn to media and ask for help (but we all know that media cannot arrest a person and they still need the police). It is unfair to think that all the police officers are corrupt and abusive of his/her power when only a few of them are doing it.

4. There is a certain channel (in the Philippines, of course) whose 'motto' is like this, "Panig sa bayan." In my point of view, which I believe is right, even if most people do an act or believe that something is right, that 'something' is not necessarily right- morally, ethically or lawfully/legally right. Do you get my point? Dapat ang balita, walang pinapanigan, kahit pa ang masa o ang bayan! (because Filipinos are so stubborn that they stick to what they believe is right, when it is actally wrong!)

5. As I said earlier, Filipinos are soooo STUBBORN!!! Argh! One pretty example: When you watch news about demolition of slum areas? and the plan of relocation of informal slash illegal settlers (i call them the i-settlers BTW) in Metro Manila? What do you think the i-settlers will say? It is so predictable I could act it on their behalf! Say I'm a reporter and I ask this one i-settler and she freak out, "Ang tagal na namin dito nakatira. Dito na ako lumaki, dito na ako nagkaanak, dito na rin ako nagkaapo! Tapos paaalisin na lang kami nang ganun ganun na lng? Maawa naman sila sa amin!" And, "Yun namang pagdadalhan sa amin sa bundok! Ang layu-layo noon sa pinagtatrabahuhan ng asawa ko." I do not know about the 'Squatter's Law' if it really exists, but here's I want to tell to the i-settlers. If you did not acquire the lot in a legal way, I mean, if you just went there and settled there and did not buy it or ask a permission from the legal owner of that lot to live there, it is still not yours even if you spent forever there. It is not yours! It is mine! No, just kidding.

6. Squatters line up the creeks- such a picture of Metro Manila! And when they started to live there our creeks have never been the same, I mean, they are not as beautiful and as clean as they were a long long time ago. When you see the creeks, what do you see? Yeah, they're colorful- plastic bags, cans, etc. Daniel Burnham, an American architect, who made a plan of Manila (but was not finished), saw these creeks/little rivers like the rivers of Venice. It is so unfortunate that most Filipinos realized what those creeks are capable of and how beautiful they might have been, if they took care of it back then, when it is already too late, when the hardheaded people are now living there, when you cannot remove them away from creeks.







Note: I think I heard my professor telling us about the 'squatter's law' which gives a family/person of right to live to a certain place if they already lived there for...uh..2 or 20 years? I'm not sure but I can only think about this: I know the author of such law wanted to help those who could not afford to buy a land but it opened more opportunities for illegal settlers. So for those who own empty lands, be responsible enough to look after your real property.

She Read About 'Through the Rapist's Eye' and She was Saved

THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD INFO TO PASS ALONG...
FYI - Through a rapist's eyes! A group of rapists and date rapists in
prison were interviewed on what they look for in a potential victim
and here are some interesting facts:
1] The first thing men look for in a potential victim is hairstyle.
They are most likely to go after a woman with a ponytail, bun! , braid
or other hairstyle that can easily be grabbed. They are also likely to
go after a woman with long hair. Women with short hair are not common
targets.
2] The second thing men look for is clothing. They will look for women
who's clothing is easy to remove quickly. Many of them carry scissors
around to cut clothing.
3] They also look for women using their cell phone, searching through
their purse or doing other activities while walking because they are
off guard and can be easily overpowered.
4] The number one place women are abducted from / attacked at is
grocery store parking lots.
5] Number two is office parking lots/garages.
6] Number three is public restrooms.
7] The thing about these men is that they are looking to grab a woman
and quickly move her to a second location where they don't have to
worry about getting caught.
8] If you put up any kind of a fight at all, they get discouraged
because it only takes a minute or two for them to realize that going
after you isn't worth it because it will be time-consuming.
9] These men said they would not pick on women who have umbrellas,or
other similar objects that can be used from a distance, in their
hands.
10] Keys are not a deterrent because you have to get really close to
the attacker to use them as a weapon. So, the idea is to convince
these guys you're not worth it.

POINTS THAT WE SHOULD REMEMBER:
1] If someone is following behind you on a street or in a garage or
with you in an elevator or stairwell, look them in the face and ask
them a question, like what time is it, or make general small talk:
can't believe it is so cold out here, we're in for a bad winter. Now
that you've seen their faces and could identify them in a line- up,
you lose appeal as a target.
2] If someone is coming toward you, hold out your hands in front of
you and yell Stop or Stay back! Most of the rapists this man talked to
said they'd leave a woman alone if she yelled or showed that she would
not be afraid to fight back. Again, they are looking for an EASY
target.
3] If you carry pepper spray (this instructor was a huge advocate of
it and carries it with him wherever he goes,) yelling I HAVE PEPPER
SPRAY and holding it out will be a deterrent.
4] If someone grabs you, you can't beat them with strength but you can
do it by outsmarting them. If you are grabbed around the waist from
behind, pinch the attacker either under the arm between the elbow and
armpit or in the upper inner thigh - HARD. One woman in a class this
guy taught told him she used the underarm pinch on a guy who was
trying to date rape her and was so upset she broke through the skin
and tore out muscle strands the guy needed stitches. Try pinching
yourself in those places as hard as you can stand it; it really hurts.
5] After the initial hit, always go for the groin. I know from a
particularly unfortunate experience that if you slap a guy's parts it
is extremely painful. You might think that you'll anger the guy and
make him want to hurt you more, but the thing these rapists told our
instructor is that they want a woman who will not cause him a lot of
trouble. Start causing trouble, and he's out of there.
6] When the guy puts his hands up to you, grab his first two fingers
and bend them back as far as possible with as much pressure pushing
down on them as possible. The instructor did it to me without using
much pressure, and I ended up on my knees and both knuckles cracked
audibly.
7] Of course the things we always hear still apply. Always be aware of
your surroundings, take someone with you if you can and if you see any
odd behavior, don't dismiss it, go with your instincts. You may feel
little silly at the time, but you'd feel much worse if the guy really
was trouble.

FINALLY, PLEASE REMEMBER THESE AS WELL ....
I know you are smart enough to know these pointers but there will be
some, where you will go "hmm I must remember that" After reading,
forward it to someone you care about, never hurts to be careful in
this crazy world we live in.

1. Tip from Tae Kwon Do: The elbow is the strongest point on your
body. If you are close enough to use it, do it.
2. Learned this from a tourist guide to New Orleans : if a robber asks
for your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM. Toss it away from
you.... chances are that he is more interested in your wallet and/or
purse than you and he will go for the wallet/purse. RUN LIKE MAD IN
THE OTHER DIRECTION!
3. If you are ever thrown into the trunk of a car: Kick out the back
tail lights and stick your arm out the hole and start waving like
crazy. The driver won't see you but everybody else will. This has
saved lives.
4. Women have a tendency to get into their cars after shopping,eating,
working, etc., and just sit
(doing their checkbook, or making a list, etc. DON'T DO THIS! The
predator will be watching you, and this is the perfect opportunity for
him to get in on the passenger side,put a gun to your head, and tell
you where to go. AS SOON AS YOU CLOSE the DOORS , LEAVE.
5. A few notes about getting into your car in a parking lot, or
parking garage:
a. Be aware: look around your car as someone may be
hiding at the passenger side , peek into your car, inside the
passenger side floor, and in the back seat. ( DO THIS TOO BEFORE
RIDING A TAXI CAB) .
b. If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the
passenger door. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling
them into their vans while the women are attempting to get into their
cars.
c. Look at the car parked on the driver's side of your vehicle, and
the passenger side. If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest
your car, you may want to walk back into the mall, or work, and get a
guard/policeman to walk you back out. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE
THAN SORRY. (And better paranoid than dead.)
6. ALWAYS take the elevator instead of the stairs. (Stairwells are
horrible places to be alone and the perfect crime spot).
7. If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS
RUN! The predator will only hit you (a running target) 4 in 100 times;
And even then, it most likely WILL NOT be a vital organ. RUN!
8. As women, we are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP IT! It may
get you raped, or killed. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, was a
good-looking, well educated man, who ALWAYS played on the sympathies
of unsuspecting women. He walked with a cane, or a limp, and often
asked "for help" into his vehicle or with his vehicle, which is when
he abducted his next victim.

I'd like you to forward this to all the women you know. It may save a
life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle. I was going
to send this to the ladies only, but guys, if you love your mothers,
wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it onto them, as
well.
Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the
world we live in has a lot of crazies in it and it's better safe than
sorry.

Ooh.. Everyone is busy and I noticed that most of the students today are wearing casual clothes and here I am in school (college) uniform!!! FYI, this week is supposedly a no-class week, but it turned out to be otherwise, because it is the University of Santo Tomas' Quadricentennial celebration. Man, this school is old! Some nice professors in other colleges, BTW I'm from College of Architecture, gave their students a holiday while here we, arki students, are in our classrooms suffering in a one-and-a-half hour lecture [on one subject].

Today, I'm gonna start my fan fiction story!! Yehey! It'll be about Armi Millare (UDD's vocals & keyboard) and Ria Bautista (Paramita's vocals & drums) -obviously a shoujo ai story. I might consider inserting myself into the story.. Tomorrow, at 7:30pm, various artists will flock the main program of Quadrcentennial celeb. The school looks different since last week and I don't wonder anymore why last year's Paskuhan (except for UDD, Kamikazee and fireworks display) was a failure. Large portion of the budget went to celebrate this 400th anniversary.

Beware of Them!

I never knew I would experience what I had seen on TV 2 years ago...

Galing ako sa bahay nila Janah kahapon. I think past 7:30pm na kami nkauwi nila Krizzia, Clarice and Gela. So ayun, sa Espana Blvd na ko nun and I chose to ride a bus kasi within 30-40 minutes sa bahay na ko, unlike sa jeep, 1 hour pa bago ako mkrating dun. Kasi nman sa may Visayas Ave. pa ko nkatira (malapit sa elliptical Road, sa Quezon Memorial Circle).

Ayun, sumakay ako sa bus, I forgot the name of the bus line, tapos sa QC Hall ang baba. Nung malapit na ko sa may sakayan ng jeep papunta Visayas (sa may NHA), tumayo na ako. Medyo weird dun nung malapit na ko sa pinto ng bus, bigla dumami yung mga lalaki na bababa at lahat sila nakapalibot sa ken.. O_o

THen there's a guy wearing back shirt, siguro between 25-35 years old, na parang naiinis, sabi nya, "Excuse me." (di ko pinansin), then, "Hoy, miss! Excuse me. Paharang harang kasi bababa nga ako." Tapos sabi ko, "Teka lang di ba?" Tapos, all of a sudden, naalala ko yung napanuod ko sa Imbestigador dati. I immediately look at my backpack, and poof!!! Ayun, nakita ko yung kamay nung lalaki, na nasa left ko, nakapasok sa bag ko. Syempre, hinila ko kagad. Then, when they notice na nalaman ko modus operandi nung mga gagong yun, sumibat sila ng baba before mag- City Hall!!!

Sobrang na-shock ako nun! Kya natigilan lang ako..

So ganito modus nila. Hindi sila sabay-sabay sasakay ng bus, sa different places sila manggagaling. Then, mag-iisip sila ng target! Mostly, girls! Then, pag nakatayo na yung victim nila, sabay-sabay sila tatayo kung nasan yung victim. Sa kanan (or pwede rin sa left), may magpupush sayo papunta sa kaliwa (or it could be to right), pwede sya mag-act na naiinis na pasahero na bababa dahil nkharang ka sa dadaanan nya (just like what happened to me). Then, while it is happening, the other men will open your bag and get anything valuable, cellphone, wallet, etc!

If you're gonna ask if may nakuha sila saken,...WALA! Mali sila ng biniktima, malaki backpack ko kya kelangan pa tanggalin yung nsa ibabaw para makita cellphones ko..Yung pera ko nman nsa hidden pocket sa loob ng bag! Hahaha! So GIRLS, BEWARE!!!

Princess Yue

Who's Princess Yue?
Since i can't get over with 'The Last Air Bender' fan feeling, i have to blog this.
Princess Yue is a princess of the North Water Tribe (in Avatar: The Last Air Bender). She's one of the girls Sokka fell in love with.

BTW, that's not what i want to deal with. I just want to blog about the girl who will play the role of Princess Yue in M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Air Bender (coming out this July 2010). Here she is:

Long time no post

It's been months since the last time i posted something here on my blogger account-> here i am again, posting again on blogger. I have another blog site and that is in Ameba (http://ameblo.jp/dianerlano/) and that's where i used to blog when i'm not using this.

Anyway, i missed blogging here. So,..here's my 'comeback post': this is about the movie me, my younger brother and a friend of mine have been looking forward since AVATAR was released. (huh? what's the connection?)


Yes. We thought that the AVATAR is the Nickelodeon's Avatar: Aang, the Last Air Bender. So, when i saw the trailer of the former, i was a bit disappointed because we're mistaken... Thanks to M. Night Shyamalan, the director of the latter, for bringing it to live action...i won't miss this movie, NEVER!

Apologies

To my readers, I want to say sorry because I wrote on my last blog "I thought they were rockers..." The truth is the triplets are real rockers. The band name is Snake of Eden. (for me the 'snake' refers to them).
Look at these guys! They appear girls from afar! I just watch an interview with them and they were kinda bragging of they're band but it's not that bad. They said girls love them (YES!) and that includes me, of course. They also mentioned that the best hardcore bands come from Sweden (note that they come from Sweden). They do not take their make up off and their friends have never seen them without make-up. They have cute accent, according to them, but the girls love it, according to them. Some of their fans have a problem of identifying one from the other.

But I...am not experiencing such problem because I LOVE THEM ALL...!

My New Crushes

Oh my God! That 's what I want to say. I just watch Paparazzi (Lady Gaga) and when I saw the so-called 'Paparazzi triplets', I...I.. I don't know how to explain the feeling. Uhmm... All I know is I said wow! Why? I saw them before but I thought they were girls. I saw them while I was surfing the internet. I also thought they were rockers or stars from Europe because they were sitting beside Gaga. They're so cool and hot at the same time (could that be possible?). They look like J-rockers, I guess.

Number One

I consider myself lucky for having a time for blogging. I'm hungry and quite mentally exhausted because brainstorming in Design5 consumed up a lot of my energy. Anyway, I want to tell that I'm on a certain experiment. I don't know how would I call it but it's mainly about self-assestment to know where I'm at my best.
There are a lot of things to be considered in the design of hospital since we are required to have it disaster-prepared, meaning it could resist the natural disasters like typhoon, EARTHQUAKE and others you can associate with the word 'disaster' (?).
Now, we are headed to presenting a site plan, massing (conceptual) and research, all of which are to be presented in Powerpoint.
And for your information, this plate is a competition plate. And not only that, this is also a NATIONAL competition plate. That bothers me a lot. I am ambitious, I know that. For me it's not enough to dream of being our professors TOP 5 or UST College of Architecture's TOP2. I want our group to be the NO. 1 in the Philippines!


P.S. Lady Gaga has a weird sense of fashion statement. A long, straight blond hair and a fake lavender hair on top of it that looks like a scoop of ube ice cream resting on her head? What do ya think? ART for IDENTITY'S sake! (I still like her, though...)

Don't Forget About Her

I wonder why Farrah Fawcett's death isn't much talked about. I know for a fact that her death collides with Michael Jackson's but that is not enough reason for not reporting her last minutes on earth even if she's already inside her coffin- beneath the gorund .

Many people from different parts of the world are giving tribute to MJ's death, e.g., a restaurant having cuisines named after him, dancing his famous step 'moonwalk', singing all of his songs in TV, playing his hit songs over millions of radio stations, and a whole lot more.

Farrah, for those who don't know her, is the star of Charlie's Angels- a TV series that began in the 1970's. I feel sympathy for her and for her family. For nearly 3 years, she struggled to fight her disease, the anal cancer, but unfortunately lost it. She died at the age of 62.

Why do I say these things? I am not her relative, friend or whatsoever. I just reported about the story 'Kalihi in Farrah' which shows how popular she was and how women (and gays) coveted her hairstyle, looks and fashion statement. That's how I came to know her (because my mother was not the type of person who would tell me everything about the past Hollywood actors and actresses). And I find her beautiful and sexy, even if she had no big breasts. Funny to hear myself saying this but it's true. She still pretty in her 60's, huh...

I became a fan of hers when I watched the documentary about her battle against cancer,even if she wasn't able to win. I saw the courage in her eyes (that's not literal because she used to wear her shades). One instance is that when she convinced the doctors (just after her operation in Germany) to let her go to her hometown in L.A (such a stubborn little girl!). She said on her documentary having a cancer like that had a purpose. Yes, it had and it has!

So whereever you are Farrah, this is for you....

Sleep Attack!

I felt so tired today that my brain wasn't functioning well. I think the fluids that needed to flow into it resisted to go up because they also lacked the energy to do so....
I felt so 'malas' today because I saw my 'kaaway' who would also use the elevator. Gosh! I should have used stair for my own sake and for peace's sake!
I really abhor this guy who I need to bear with for the remaining three years! It seems so long... What I did is I prayed that I wouldn't explode with anger because everytime I see him, sure as hell, it will be a bad day!

We went to our room and I still felt sleepy but I tried my best not to show it. It was so cold in there; since I had no jacket, I felt I need to get to the rest room. I was about to stand up when our professor called my name. I was a bit shocked because I wasn't listening that much to what he was saying. I raised my hand (he was trying to find me) expecting his question to be just a short one.

And all I can remember was that he kept asking me questions (much like a machine gun) which seemed easy but my brain couldn't grasp (my brain was like a 'sobrang bagal mag-load na computer'). And my classmates throw me some kind of gaze like 'hey, girl, are you out of your mind?' which added to the pressure. The scene is not embarassing but I don't want this to be part of my memory- if I could only throw things like this and leave only those that are pleasing to me, I would have done that a long time ago!
Anyway, the same process- I shall act like nothing happened the day before.

OMG!

I've seen several men who danced the 'Single Ladies' step but watching Joe Jonas, it's really odd. In fact, seeing him with that outfit is nuts!

In the video, Joe was hesitant to do it but his brother Nick and Kevin said he must do it for their fans. He certainly had a hard time to decide on that ridiculous move because, honestly, 'matigas ang katawan nya'!

I think they made the video to tell the public (or to catch their attention) that they will release their fourth studio album entitled 'Lines, Vines and Trying Times' on June 16.

Yeah, that's right- I am giving my all out support for Adam Lambert. Although I am not that interested to this season of American Idol compared to last season, I still want to give my bet.

Adam puts 'artistry'(like what Kara use to say) in every song that he sings and he's also a 'true genius' according to Kara, so I have my two hands clapping and 'bumping' for him.

Kris Allen for me is a good performer but not enough to make me shout and jump on my seat. He's BORING and too typical. I believe that Danny was eliminated because Kris got more of the looks than style.

Yeah, Kris is cute but let's face the fact that in American Idol, we're not searching for good-looking person but a talented person. And whoever says that Adam is not cute, he/she better go to EO (Executive Optical).

May Update Kahit Papano

Walang mai-blog kapag vacation because the same thing happens each day- gising sa umaga pero hindi muna babangon sa kama (dahil magde-daydream pa 'ko), inom ng kape at kain ng pan de sal, makikinig ng radio na naka-tune in sa favorite radio station namin-WRR 101.9, manonood ng TV dahil tapos na ang segment ng favorite DJ ko na si DJ Toni, manonood ng Pilipinas, GAME KNB?, tapos kain ng lunch, tapos tulog,etc.,etc. Don't ask me kung ano yung 'etc.'- basta boring yun.

...kaya naman wala akong mai-blog na maganda.

May bago naman kahit papano- I'm busy reading a book entitled 'Simplify' by Bo Sanchez- a Filipino writer. Dahil dun, medyo napapaisip na rin ako kung ano ba talaga ang life-dreams ko, mission ko sa buhay and kung ano ba talaga ang magpapasaya sa 'kin. Meron din ako natutunan- 'Satisfaction is not having what you want but wanting what you already have.' I also learned na most of the real millionaires have maliit na bahay or house na madaling i-maintain, lumang model ng kotse and only one spouse (you know, walang kabit, walang divorce). One thing pa is 'All human desire never quits on you.' dahil sabi ng author, which I believe is right, 'wag daw tayo maniwala sa phrase na 'to: 'After this, I will be satisfied.'

So yun; kahit wala ako masyadong nai-blog eh pinilit ko pa rin na gawin kasi -84.06% ang percentage ng change sa blog ko sabi sa Google Analytics ko. Ang sad naman nun kasi may record pa ako na 22 visits last April 22- nakakainis kasi nawala. Hindo ko rin alam kung saan na napunta yung Map Overlay ko na next na pinaka-green sa Philippines- ang Romania- whaaaa ang dami ko pa naman visitors galing dun!

*I want to tell everybody na favorite ko si DJ Toni of WRR101.9 kasi I like her voice and the way she laugh. Yung tawa nya kasi is, sabi ni DJ R-Nold Rey, parang nanalo sa mahjong. Hahaha.
I encourage everyone na mag-tune in sa nasabing station every 5AM-9AM.

Anoop- A Hairstrand Away To Saying 'Goodbye'

I wasn't satisfied with Anoop's performance last week on American Idol. His version of Usher's song was good but not great- it didn't make the audience move. That's why I wasn't upset when he sat on one of the stools there in the left part of the stage but I was glad he didn't left A.I.

This week,if he can't make the song his and if he will not put 'artistry' in his song (as what Kara said), and performance as well,I think, it will trigger to his elimination.

I am also grateful for those who supported Anoop- let's keep doing so.
